Serenity In Christ
What has His voice been repeating all along?

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29:13 ESV)

Anytime you find yourself excusing, redefining, or rationalizing sin, you’ve lost your sensitivity to the Lord.
I noticed you deleted a post not long ago about politics. why? if anything, shouldnt christians not shy away, but attempt to influence politics? why leave it to the world? i, personally, think you shouldnt shy away. no matter what the world thinks.

Hey anon! Thank you for your concern and all, but I think I should have worded that a bit differently. lol. I agree! We shouldn’t stay quiet about our stances in politics. That’s not to say that we should be STRICTLY democrat or republican, but rather, if you ask me, we should not hold unto titles, but instead defend the Gospel! :]

When I said politics, though, I meant more politics with friends. What happened was I poured out my heart in a post, but realized if certain people read it, it would do more harm than good, so I deleted it. Hence, “politics”.

I was also feeling a little lonely yesterday and the words of a good friend have yet to leave my mind, even to this day. “HALT; Never make a decision when you are HUNGRY, ANGRY, LONELY or TIRED.” I wrote all that I did, but soon realized that I was writing out of my emotions and, as a result, I may regret some of the things I said tomorrow or the day after, so I deleted it. :]

When you fast, announce it on Facebook, complain to your coworkers about how hungry you are, and decline every invitation to a luncheon, banquet, or dinner because you’re fasting; and let everyone know that’s why you’re not going.
Things Jesus Never Said (via thingsjesussneversaid)
One of the evidences of not drinking deeply from Jesus is the instability of constantly moving from one thing to the next, seeking to fill the void.
